An Automobile GPS Is Great, But The Surveys Are Exasperating
There are plenty of advantages to having a GPS system installed in your car. If you have the bad luck to be in an accident and your car is out of view or in a remote location, in this situation rescue crews will be able to find your car in a snap. You may use your GPS car system for finding your way if you get lost. This is especially useful at night, when the difficulty of being lost is worsened by not having the ability to see clearly around you.
This writer once lived in the woods in England for over three years.
Although I continue to listen to the radio from time to time, I tended to ignore the huge changes occurring in real life. I first heard the alphabet soup term “GPS” while I was still living in America, but always in the context of an army or large law enforcement or rescue agency. If I heard about an automotive GPS in a radio adverts, I never knew what they were talking about, and didn’t care to discover.
Welcome (Back) To America
Moving back to America, I was in for a severe culture shock. I evaded watching television so long as I could, but my mum (who took her wayward kid in) loved it, so the TV was on all the time. I’d practically pound my head against the floor just because I couldn’t understand the commercials. My Mom had to help me understand what “bling” meant. That was a tad bit humbling.
At the time, I took computer lessons and attempted to get my head together. I certainly required an automotive GPS system to work out what I was doing. As a lark, I joined many online survey groups. I started getting free samples, and learned what a Garmin Nuvi automotive GPS was. I didn’t have much of a choice I was getting 2 or three GPS car tracking surveys a week.
Back In The Saddle Again
I realized that instead of being bothered by geeky lingo, auto GPS dashboard mounted devices were useful and simply understandable gadgetry that might help improve the standard of life. Imagine if the children of Israel had GPS car tracking units strapped to their donkeys and camels.
They wouldn’t have wandered around in the desert for 40 years. They would’ve found the best road to The promised Land before dinner.
Folks of my generation and younger get so easily lost because it is simply too perilous to go anywhere. Whenever we plan a trip, we need to allow at least three hours to get lost and then find our way again. Think about the waste of gas.
But with an automotive GPS unit, you don’t have to waste gas or time to get to your destination. I speculate how much gas is saved by using automotive GPS units.
If I return to the woods, I think I’ll take a Garmin Nuvi automotive GPS device with me. Perhaps then I could make better calls about my life.
