Whoever is unfortunate enough to have diabetes type 2 should be making sure they follow the best diabetes type two diet. Though this diet will not help in curing the disease, it assures a healthy life. Following the food pyramid rules is one aspect of this type of diet.

Those suffering from type two diabetes have to maintain a stable diet, exercise, lose weight and stop smoking. Special emphasis is placed on carbohydrates in a type two diabetes diet as carbohydrates have a direct effect on blood glucose levels.

As type 2 diabetics have to maintain low blood glucose levels, they have to limit their consumption of foods high in carbohydrates. The foods that are loaded with sugar like chocolates, cakes, biscuits and some breads are full of carbohydrates known as simple carbohydrates.

Some other foods such as grains and cereals are high in complex carbohydrates which are much better for the diabetic than simple carbohydrates. Basically this type of food breaks down glucose much slower than simple carbohydrates do.

Apart from complex carbohydrates, the diabetes diet sample has to include not only vegetables and fruit, but proteins derived from foods such as eggs, dairy and lean cuts of meat. All this maintains a healthy and varied balance in the diet.

The best advice for diabetics looking to pursue this type of diet should come from a dietician. They help you reach the right decisions about the type of food you can eat to not only help with your diabetes, but to also enjoy better health overall.

But quite apart from the diet, type 2 diabetes sufferers have to also exercise regularly. Jogging, playing with the kids, walking and light gym workouts are all ways of exercising and helping the body.

Are Doctors Lying About the Cure for Diabetes?

“The People” have had enough apparently!

An “insider” revealed today that the “World of Medicine” is scamming people – and even worse: with the help of “law-makers!”

It seems that “money” (as usual) has blinded doctors and medical practitioners to the degree that they are now willingly *suppressing* the truth regarding diabetes – its control, management, and even its cure!

That’s right: “cure!”

And what should shock you even more:

It seems that it’s against the law to say the word “cure” when describing anything that actually cures you.

Yet it’s very much okay to say that something “treats” or helps “offset” the symptoms of some health condition or disease.

But if you say “cure” (and even including when you in fact have a real and bona fide cure for something and can even prove it!) you can get arrested.

Ever wonder why we have a “healthcare” industry and not a “healthcure” industry?

It’s simply because no one’s out to “cure” anyone because there’s little money in doing so.

Instead, keeping you sick and marginally pain-free is all anyone’s really out to do for you these days – as doing so means you being “forced” to buy all the same drugs over and over again, and again, and … (you get the point!)

Of course, if a cure came along it would mean you buy it one time, and then you’re cured – and that’s that (over and done!)

But a number of doctors, philanthropists, and just plain old “good folks” armed with “real answers” and “real solutions” are stepping up and are NOT afraid of “Uncle Big-Bully Brother!”

One courageous fellow by the name of Melford Bibens, CPT, is doing exactly this, as he overcame “naturally” the dreaded disease Diabetes!

Not only that, but Melford has lectured and personally helped individuals beat the disease to the point that proven sufferers have actually gotten re-diagnoses as “no longer having the disease at all!” (Something that’s pretty much always been ruled out as a possibility altogether! – and now which may even be against the law!)

But it’s not certain how long Melford will be allowed to do this because “Uncle Sambo” has actually started using “Gestapo” tactics whereby people and businesses truly offering “cures” have been raided with masked armed police who even go to the point of forcing customers in the stores to get down on the floor at gunpoint!

Diabetes insipidus, not to be confused with the more common diabetes mellitus, is a relatively rare disorder resulting from a failure to produce sufficient amounts of vasopressin, also known as antidiuretic hormone (ADH). Vasopressin, produced by the hypothalamus and secreted by the posterior pituitary gland, helps the kidneys to reabsorb water and maintain proper fluid balance. If the pituitary fails to produce enough ADH, water is not conserved bur simply passed through the kidneys and excreted, typically in very large quantities. More rarely, the kidneys fail to respond properly to ADH; this is known as nephrogenic diabetes insipidus. Dehydration is the primary health risk associated with either form. Diabetes insipidus affects both sexes equally. With proper treatment, overall prognosis is good.

Prevention

There is no known way to prevent diabetes insipidus from the traditional standpoint.

The treatment

Combining conventional and alternative therapy is one of the surest way in prevention and treatment for diabetes insipidus.

• Vasopressin (synthetic ADH) may be administered (either in a nasal spray, as a pill, or by injection) to replace or supplement the body’s ADH production. Such hormone therapy is usually necessary for a lifetime, although if diabetes insipidus is caused by a head injury or surgery, it may possible to discontinue treatment.

• To treat nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, your doctor may advise a low salt diet to reduce thirst and slow the excretion of water. Certain diuretics may also be prescribed. (Nephrogenic diabetes insipidus does not respond to ADH treatment.)

• Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.

• Consume plenty of high fiber foods and fruit juices to prevent or treat constipation.

• Herbs bean tea, made up of kidney white navy, Lima, and northern beans, detoxifies the pancreas.

• Bitter melon (Momordica charantia), gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre), and gulvel (Tinospora cordifo) are herbal remedies used in ayurvedic medicine to regulate blood sugar levels.

• Cedars berries are excellent nourishment of the pancreas.

• Dandelion root protects the liver, which converts nutrients into glucose. Note: if you suffer from gallbladder problems, avoid large quantities of dandelion.

• Huckleberry helps to promote insulin production.

• Other herbs that may be beneficial for diabetes include bilberry, buchu, dandelion root, and goldenseal and uva ursi. Caution: do not take goldenseal on a daily basis for more than one week at a time, and do not use it during pregnancy. If you have a history of cardiovascular disease, diabetes or glaucoma, use it only under a doctor’s supervision.

• All approach above is incomplete without this one. The best alternative diabetes insipidus – prevention and treatment as provided by the “one minute cure for all diseases” we all know that this prevention and treatment has gain publicity to a lot of people. The claim is so simple; study shows that if you deprive a cell 35% of its required levels of oxygen for 48 hours, the cell will become acidic and cancerous. Most people don’t know is that lack of oxygen is not only the underlying cause of cancer but is also the cause of most diseases. When the body is supplied with abundant amounts of oxygen, no cancer cells, viruses, harmful bacteria, toxins, pathogens and disease microorganisms can survive because they cannot survive in a highly oxygenated environment. We have to be aware that oxygen is the primary ingredient that our cells need when it comes to cell regeneration and this is very important in dealing diabetes insipidus at the cellular level.

Diabetes is a silent disease. If it goes undetected, it can become a life threatening disease. People have been known to have their legs amputated due to diabetes. Why is this so? It is simply due to the fact that people are not able to identify the possible diabetic symptoms. Just try asking some people about diabetes and you will be surprised with the answer.

I know because my aunt was one such casualty of diabetes. You see, she was diabetic but did not know about it. Not realizing that she was diabetic, she continued eating whatever she liked. There was no diet because of her ignorance. When she developed a sore in her right leg, not knowing that a diabetic had to take additional care where wounds or injuries are concerned, she ignored it as she thought it would heal itself. After all it was just a small sore. It did not go away, and instead, the sore in her leg became a bigger wound. It was later that she decided to visit a doctor. However, it was too late as the wound developed into gangrene. She had to have her leg amputated. Though this happened in the late 1970′s, today in the 21st century, people are still as ignorant of diabetes as in the 1970s.

In most developed countries as well as in the third world countries, access to medical doctors are easier than in the 1970s. So there is no excuse whatsoever to be ignorant about this life-threatening disease. Also, there is always the library that a person can turn to for information on diabetes. If you are still unable to obtain the correct information on diabetes, then turn to the Internet to seek for more information. There are a number of websites on diabetes, ranging from diet to controlling diabetes. There is absolutely no excuse not to be well informed about diabetes.

You may ask why am I so concerned about diabetes? Let’s put it this way, ought not we be concerned about a silent killer? There has been a lot of publicity on other diseases such as cancer. But there is not much publicity on diabetes. Yes, I did say that there are a number of ways to obtain information on diabetes, but the publicity to make people more aware of diabetes is sadly insufficient. I believed that there should be more publicity to reach out to a larger crowd of people to educate them on the dangers of diabetes.

The problem with diabetes is that living in this modern world, we are bombarded with advertisement on the different types of food and beverages made available to us. As we consumed these processed food and beverages, guess what happened next? Our body system starts to react to the food and beverages. In processed food and beverages, manufacturers being concerned with the bottom line, will continue to add more refined sugar and salt to make the food and beverages tastier. Imagine, when someone kept on consuming all these stuff, especially if it is full of sugar! What will happen next? Our body will start to fail us. It would not be able to make use of the excess sugar and these will just be in our blood. I’m not talking only about the refined sugar. Almost at fault are food items such as refined rice and potatoes that will make our blood sugar rise faster and if not taken care of, will possibly result in diabetes.

The previous paragraph talks about food and beverage laden with sugar and refined carbohydrates. But there is another aspect to this. As we progressed as a modern society, we have lesser time for exercise. Of course, there will be some amongst us who are disciplined to continue with their exercise routine. This is not so for the majority of us. What will happen? Simply this, with the consumption of all those refined food and beverages, coupled with a lack of exercise, we will see more and more people suffering from diabetes. What makes it scary is that most will not be aware that diabetes is within striking distance of them.

So what is it that we, as individuals can do about it? I will list out a couple of steps here. In future, more will be outlined. Firstly, we need to find out our own genetic history. Trace back to your parents and grandparents. Check whether any of them had histories of diabetes. If no, then the chance of getting diabetes is reduced. I say only reduced because there is no guarantee that diabetes will not strike at a later stage. For those of you who are able to trace back your family history and discover that one of your parents or grandparents had diabetes, your chance of getting diabetes is increased. However, this is not the end of the world. There are many ways and means to avoid or delay the onset of diabetes.

The number of adults and teenagers in the United States who are being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes are on the rise. As the obesity rates rise, so do the numbers for type 2 diabetes. It is a known fact that being obese or overweight can lead to the early onset of type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes is a horrific disease that can bring forth several medical complications and problems such as a stroke, gout, blindness, and other skin problems. This is why it is so important that a person recognizes the type 2 diabetes symptoms and signs as soon as possible, as the disease can be controlled with the proper lifestyle program such as Kathy Smith’s Project You Type 2.

Here are some of the common type 2 diabetes symptoms to be on the look out for, especially if you are considered overweight or obese.

Fatigue

When your body deprives your cells of sugar, you become fatigues because you do not have the energy source anymore.

Increase thirst with frequent urination

When excess sugar builds up in your blood stream, it pulls the water and fluids from your tissues and cells, which leaves you constantly thirsty. The result is that you drink more than normal and have to urinate more than normal.

Blurry vision

This goes along the same lines as increased thirst. When sugar pulls the fluid away from the lenses of your eyes, you start to have trouble with your eyesight and it becomes blurry. You may not be able to focus clearly on objects.

Sores are slow-healing

Type 2 diabetes affects your body in that it takes much longer to heal your sores and infections. Your body does not have the proper energy to heal your body quickly anymore.

Increased hunger

When you don’t have enough insulin your body to move the sugar into your cells, your body craves the energy and food, even after you may have just eaten. This type 2 diabetes symptom actually worsens the effect of the disease as it can make a person gain even more weight.

If you concerned that you are suffering from at least 2 or more of the above type 2 diabetes symptoms, you need to see your doctor as soon as possible. The quicker that you are diagnosed with the disease, the quicker you can change your life and start fighting it.

The American Diabetes Association is recommending a lifestyle program called Project You Type 2, which was developed by fitness and nutritional expert Kathy Smith to change the way you live to fight off type 2 diabetes.

The good part about recognizing type 3 diabetes symptoms is that most of the time, the disease can be controlled with healthy lifestyle programs like Project You Type 2 and medicine may not be needed.

Today I’ve got great news for you!

If you have diabetes, know someone with diabetes, or even if
you think you (or a loved one) are at risk of developing
diabetes, I finally have the natural solution you’ve been
looking for…

Now you can join the growing number of ex-diabetes sufferers
who put my revolutionary home remedy to the test … to
reverse type 2 diabetes using proven natural principles.
>
- Imagine your blood sugar worries gone … in ONLY 4 short
weeks from today!

- Imagine your doctor telling you to back-off on your
insulin dosage . . . gradually eliminating the need for it
entirely!

- Imagine avoiding the pain, suffering and unnecessary
expenses by naturally addressing the root cause of your
diabetes now.

- Imagine the peace of mind you’ll have knowing you can
help stop diabetes Type 1 by helping reverse Type 2
diabetes.

Hidden inside the pages of “The Diabetes Reversal Report”
you will discover the secret to what scientists are calling the
new science of biology. You will find this new science in
easy to understand language even a 6th grader can understand.

My remedy report reveals a remarkable principle that’s so
easy to use. It’s as simple as turning a key to unlock a
treasure once lost, just waiting for you to take claim. The
treasure is the self-knowledge to help your body heal itself.

The information you will receive with “The Diabetic Reversal
Report” gives you the secret ingredient to empower the
healing center within each of your 60 trillion cells.

FACT: Most diabetics die from heart attacks not diabetes.
Insulin slowly eats away major arterial linings. Added to
insulin is high blood sugar levels which harm your smaller
blood vessels and nerve endings. That’s why diabetes
causes millions of people to suffer the loss of quality of
life. Thanks to discoveries in the new science of natural
medicine, diabetes may soon be a thing of the past.

The Diabetes Reversal Report works exceptionally well if:

- You are insulin resistant or have diabetes Type 2.

- If you have recently (within 7 years) been diagnosed
with Type 1 diabetes and are under age 50.

- If you do not smoke excessively, take multiple drugs
or drink more alcohol than average.

- If you don’t have acute pancreatitis, kidney or
other major organ failure.

- If you are willing to make some dietary adjustments.

Does your doctor recommend natural remedies for diabetes?

Truth is your doctor doesn’t know about this remedy
because most of them simply don’t have time to keep up on
natural solutions. In fact only about 20% of universities
even teach classes on nutrition, they simply can’t tell
you what they do not know.

But even if they did know . . . from a business perspective
it’s just not in their best interest to tell you.
Prescription drugs and performing surgery is the lifeblood
of their profession. They only earn money if you accept
traditional medical treatments. They depend on your
returning as a customer over and over . . .

On the other hand, “my business” prospers ONLY if you
experience a successful healing. The word of mouth from
your success is what keeps me in the business of sharing my
safe, proven, natural remedy breakthroughs.

Just words won’t convey how happy I am that I can offer you

Diabetes is a problem in which your body does not produce insulin the right way. This disease is going to affect millions of people every single year. This will include children and when it goes uncontrolled, it can be very dangerous and even cause death. What does this have to do with your skin you may wander? The answer is because it will affect the body and diabetes can cause different skin problems too. People will usually see a doctor because they think that they have skin disorder and that is how they find out they are suffering from diabetes.

If you do have diabetes, there are different things that you can do to protect your skin. Diabetes may be difficult to get through and sometimes it can cause trouble for your body the rest of your life. You do not have to let it have negative effects on your skin and the way that it looks and feels. There are some tips that can be used to take care of your skin if you have diabetes.

First, you need to get your illness under control. You have to see your doctor on a regular basis and when you have diabetes you need to use self-testing supplies daily to make sure that your sugar levels in the blood stream are under control. You will need to change the way that you eat and what you eat. Get plenty of exercise and it is very important to take all of your medications that your doctor tells you to or use your insulin pump. Take control your illness and you can be sure to reduce the risk of developing skin problems.

It is also important to treat your skin carefully. You need to use very mild products that are made for sensitive and dry skin. Your skin will be extra sensitive and may always get dry or have acne breakouts. You need to avoid hard products like regular body soap and treat cuts and bruises immediately. You should see the doctor right away for anything that can get infected too fast.

Having good skin care is very important for anyone to have. It makes no difference if you have diabetes or not. Cleaning your skin with mild soap and using natural products like shampoos and other hair care items that will not damage your scalp is very important too. Using moisturizers and toners that are going to help your skin can help keep it looking healthy and you will be happy no matter what other medical problems you might have. Your doctor will give you more information on what you should do to stay safe and healthy and how to have the right skin care if you deal with diabetes too.

A declining and unsatisfactory sex life with your partner is a sensitive subject. Men, usually, don’t want to talk about or admit that they have a sexual problem. Men will keep their impotency secret locked safely away, and be the last one to admit that they can’t get it up anymore. Impotency comes with a dreaded stigma. When a man’s libido hits the road, a penis becomes nothing more than that nubbie hanging between their legs.

Men ‘talk’ a lot about sex, and always can be counted on to notice an attractive and sexy female. But, ‘talk’ is about all a man with diabetes can do. I know, because my partner is diabetic, and more times than not, sex is just a memory. Not that there isn’t interest in intercourse, there is, but penetration is impossible without a firm, hard erection. And, unfortunately, diabetes usually zaps that ability. impotent

Now, any chronic disease can cause anxiety, and that can result in sexual dysfunction. But, more diabetics report sexual dysfunction than populations at large. A book written by Derek Polonsky, MD, Talking About Sex, states that 38% of diabetic men and women were reported with sexual dysfunction. Dr. Polonsky says, a physical problem is compounded by the emotional reaction that we experience.

More men with diabetes experience major depression and anxiety disorders, which can lead to or compound impotence. Learning to cope with a chronic disease may cause emotional frustration that lead to a lack of performance. This, in turn, can snowball into complications, and the problem feeds on itself. Sex is a complicated process, complicated enough that it probably is not a good idea to attempt to solve the problem alone. A frank discussion with a trusted physician should be a top priority.

The onset of sexual dysfunction is often a slow plodding experience. Impotence may come and go. It can begin with less than firm erections, then progress to erections having a short duration. The man may continue to be interested in sex, only to have orgasms that are weak and unsatisfying. Unfortunately, orgasms gradually become few and far between. Once he accepts the reality that he can’t perform like he used to, the male may eventually lose interest altogether. Masturbation can often help this situation, under the heading of ‘use it or lose it’. But even this can be frustrating, as an erection often will not happen. erection

Impotence can be a warning of undiagnosed diabetes, and has a rapid onset. Once a man finds he is having trouble with his erections and performance, fear will set in. He will worry about becoming impotent, being unable to satisfy a woman, and how to accept his sexual failure. His anxiety will only compound the impotency problem, which is often connected directly to his undiagnosed diabetes.

Diabetes damages tissue, and although, it can be slowed down, the damage cannot be reversed.

Not every male who experiences bouts of impotency has diabetes. Impotency can come from medications for other conditions, or a combination of medications, or it could be a result of another illness, and when that is resolved, the impotency problem may disappear.

For some people, talking about sex, and admitting your sexual dysfunction is next to impossible. But, if you bury your head in the sand, it is likely to only get worse. Be wary of ‘miracle cures,’ or other make shift remedies. Talk to your doctor and, if needed, see a sexual dysfunction specialist. According to results from a national survey, 64% of men never discuss sex with their doctor.

Modern technology has created temporary and permanent fixes. Some, like penile implants, require surgery that can’t be undone. There are vacuum pumps that force the penis to become erect. The bad news is, the erection goes away almost immediately when the pump is removed. There are, also, nonsurgical methods available, such as sliding a gel-coated pellet into the opening of the penis, or injecting medication into the base of the penis.

The most popular remedy for impotence these days is the new natural male enhancement pills. What exactly does ‘enhancement’ mean? According to the dictionary, enhancement means to raise something to a higher degree, magnify, intensify, or raise the value or price. So, in this case, ‘enhancement’ apparently means an assist in getting an erection.

Some of these natural sexual enhancement pills actually work, and many men are enjoying a satisfying sex life again. They won’t return your abilities to a younger time of life, but they can definitely improve your erection, stamina and performance. An unwilling penis, or even a soft half-erected penis is not going to satisfy you or your partner. Of course, you may want to believe that oral sex, vibrators, dildos or strap-ons can get the job done and make your partner happy. Wrong! Toys are fun and useful, now and then, but a steady diet of toys can intensify the ‘little’ faults you see in your partner, but were not important when the sex was good.

Natural male enhancement pills can be a relatively safe alternative to the chemically laden ones. Despite many manufacturers’ claims to the contrary, natural herbs and supplements will not create an automatic erection in 30 minutes! Most herbal supplements need to build up in the body before they create the desired erection. However, many people are not able to take prescribed medicinal supplements, such as Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra, because of the risk of adverse reactions and side effects. Most natural supplements are touted to have few, if any, side effects. And some of them actually work, says my husband, snickering and snorting behind his hand.

So,just because you’re a diabetic does not mean you must accept sexual failure.

Diabetes is a growing problem in this country. With our population at an all time high in weight gain and a low in health care, the problem is only growing.

Diabetes is a disease of the metabolism. Our metabolism is what the way our bodies use digested food for energy and growth.

Most food that is processed through our bodies is broken down by digestive juices into a sugar called glucose. Glucose is the fuel our bodies run on.

When we eat, and our food is processed, the pancreas is supposed to produce the right amount of glucose from our blood automatically and release the right amount of insulin
into our blood.

In people with diabetes, little to no insulin is produced or the body’s cells donít respond correctly to the insulin that is produced. Therefore the glucose builds up and overflows into the urine and passes out of the body.

This is how the body loses its main source of fuel even though the bloodstream contains good amounts of the natural glucose.

There are three types of diabetes, type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. People who have type 1 are known as insulin-dependent.

This is an autoimmune disease where the body’s natural system is fighting against another part of the body. In the case of type 1 diabetes, the system attacks the insulin producing cells and destroys them.

Therefore the pancreas can produce little to no insulin.
These people are in need of daily injections of insulin to
live. Five to ten percent of diabetes cases are type 1 in
the US.

All too often we get sick but ignore the symptoms we may be feeling, shrugging them off to a cold, stress from work, or just not feeling well.

There are certain symptoms that shouldn’t be ignored if they develop. These symptoms could lead to blindness, amputation of limbs, coma or even death.

Symptoms of type 1 diabetes often come on suddenly and are severely dramatic. The extra stress of diabetes can lead to something called diabetic ketoacidosis.

Symptoms of ketoacidosis may include nausea and vomiting, which may also lead to dehydration and serious problems with the blood levels of potassium. This could lead to a
diabetic coma and ultimately death.

Other symptoms of diabetes may include extreme fatigue. We all get tired at times, but diabetes triggers a more severe fatigue than normal.

People with diabetes also experience unexplained weight loss. This is because they are unable to process many of the calories they consume. Losing sugar and water in the
urine also contributes to the weight loss.

Extreme thirst is another symptom of diabetes. Diabetes develops high blood sugar levels and the body tries to compensate by diluting the blood, which translates to our brain that we are thirsty.

With this is also excessive urination. It is another way our bodies have of getting rid of the extra sugar in our system. But this can also lead to dehydration.

One of the hardest symptoms to deal with is poor wound healing. Wounds heal slowly, if at all when the carrier has diabetes. This along with infections that are not easily remedied can attribute to ulcers and loss of limbs.
