China Is Changing Its Spots
Isaiah was privileged to pierce the veils of time and look down through the corridors of time for hundreds of years. To the astonishment of his listeners Isaiah revealed that Babylon would become a great, cruel world power by that day he saw and that Babylon would be utterly destroyed by the Medes. He named the cities that would spring forth as fortresses, and told how they would be compromised as if overnight.
WHY would it matter to the Israelites? Right that very moment, tiny events were happening that would lead inevitably to the growth and establishment of Babylon as a great world power, and what Isaiah was warning his countrymen about was that Israel — right that moment — was contributing to the coming of that day. What his countrymen could not discern at all was as plain as day to Isaiah’s vision. Babylon is tiny and insignificant that day but if they were foolish enough to traffic with her, Babylon would grow into a great whore that would scatter Israelites into a form of bondage worse than Egypt could conceive of. If Israel had only listened to this warning given to it hundreds of years ahead of time, how different the course of history would have been..a river. President Nixon decided to make Taiwan haul its flag down in the United States and bid mainland China to run its flag up to be recognized. Small trade concessions gave mainland China a tiny competitive edge in trade. Today, just a few decades later, Commerce from China Mainland China is a dragon about to burst the fetters of its nest and change the face of history.
Russia was the bloody cradle that birthed communism; China shall be the university that crowns it. On the 22nd of September 2009 President Obama warned World Leaders not to expect the United States to do it all. Mr. President.. the mantle of world leadership is already slipping through our grasp. Right this minute the United States owes more money to Red China than any other country on earth. All it has to do is call in its chips at a crucial moment and this once great nation will be gone like Babylon.
Isaiah 13: 15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
19 ¶ And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall be as when God overthrew eSodom and Gomorrah.
Look out over the Internet right this day and you will see a great wave of economic power rising up in China. Perhaps within 5 years and certainly within 10, China will be geared up to offer the corner grocer prices that include shipping and that are as good as any of our giant retailers are favored with. I can Accept ordersaccept orders from Sweden or Chile, in the local currency and have the merchandise delivered promptly – Why not China too?
The technology to perform this miracle is there already. Ace Hardware, for example, has the software and the “smart” tools to start a shrink-wrapped order of personalized toothbrushes out from Toronto and deliver the right one to each store along the way. When a skid comes off an Ace delivery truck, the receiving store will know in advance how much the total weighs and which department each bundle on the skid will be going to, what the nomenclature is, which bin this product is going into and which side of the aisle that bin will be on, among other things. Once China understands the principles, if it doesn’t already, China can be its own agent carrier, filling up cargo ships on a daily schedule for weekly and monthly deliveries precisely where the order originates from whether that is a village in Africa, Norway, or Amerida.
The future has already started coming to pass. America needs to quit thinking of China as a confederacy of coolies willing to build our intercontinental railroads for a bowl of rice each day and realize it is a nation united with vision and purpose standing firmly behind every step it takes.
