Searching For A Brand New Web Site With Pop Punk, Scene, And Rockabilly Clothing, Shoes, Accessories & Other Products? Check Out Diva’s Designs
The punk, pop-punk, scene, emo and rockabilly genres of fashion seem to have grown in popularity as well as in choices in recent years. Much of this is the result of fashion choices made by certain stars in the entertainment industry (such as Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Kat Von D and Dita Von Teese), as well as online celebs (a.k.a. “scene queens”, particularly on MySpace and Buzznet– think Audrey Kitching, Zui Suicide, Jac Vanek, and so on), much to the delight—or perhaps chagrin—of many followers within each genre.
And so, naturally, fans of these stars and/or fashion genres are going to want to imitate those outfits for themselves. There are numerous specialty stores and online stores available to choose from to find some of these items, including a store called Diva’s Designs.
Diva’s Designs is a online store currently selling only products influenced by pop-punk, scene and rockabilly fashion genres, but has plans to expand into the punk (pure punk) and emo genres.
The difference here is that although the store does sell plenty of products such as t-shirts, ties, shoes (for women/girls only at the moment), hats, bags and even aprons, most of the products aren’t clothes. Shoppers can also pick from the following goodies: postage stamps, postcards, greeting cards, sticker, bumper stickers, buttons, magnets, mousepads, mugs, and keychains. Other products to be added to the store in the future include business cards, posters, calendars, and (possibly) skateboards.
For now, there are six product lines which make up almost all of the items available in the store. The “Pink Punk” line features the text “Pink Punk” in gothic font over top of pink plaid and polka dot patterns. The “Pink Star Lite” line simply features the outline of a pink or black star on a pink or black background. “Cherries Galore” features several designs using a cute pair of cherries either on a plain white background or a polka dot background.
The “Cherry Rocker” line features “Cherry Rocker” text in red and/or black gothic font on a red, black or white background. The “Red Plaid Rock” line features white “Rock” text in gothic font on a red plaid background (the shoes and one mug featured in this line have only the red plaid pattern on them). Last but not least, there’s a line of Thank You cards with several of the same designs featured in the other products lines. They’re definitely not your average kind of Thank You cards.
Also, if a individual clicks on the “Favorite Stores” link, they can find other stores that sell a variety of colorful items. For the customer searching for even more punk, scene and emo products, I seriously recommend clicking on links to the stores of Artamatik, Scenester Ties, Deathrock Ties and even Dylan Lee’s small store (there are just two items in this store- but they’re hot as heck.
And really, that’s Diva’s Designs in a nutshell… for now. Again, the site states that more products and fashion genres will be added in the future. So it’s probably best to check back every so often to see what fresh new products will be added next, as the new products will probably have better and more detailed designs. If you’re interested in actually viewing the products talked about in this article (because showing is always better than telling), or maybe even want to buy a few items, go to this scene queen link. There is also a lens about the rockabilly/scene/pop punk clothing and accessories available from store on the growing community website called Squidoo. Comments– both compliments and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism– are welcome on both web pages.
