Why Do Article Directory Service Need To Know Where You Live?
Webmasters throughout the internet use an article directory service to gain both traffic and free one way links for their website or blog. Most are likely to use more than one. But I have realized that some will let you publish articles with just a log in id and password while others want to know where you live. So I just thought that why would article directory service need your home address? What are they going to do with it?
Well some article directories will send you free stuff from time to time like glasses, hats and pencils with their company logo on it. Do you need any of that stuff? Heck no.
I could understand if the article directory were going to pay you for your article by check then it would make sense. But I do not know of any article directories that pays.
Then there are others that sell your address to businesses that will send you junk mail and stuff. Have you signed up for a bunch of article directories and realized an increase in junk mail? That is where it is likely to come from.
They definitely not coming over your residence to visit you. Take you out to eat and become you best friend and keep you company. So why do they need your address? Who truely knows the answer but I would not give them my home residence until I inspected farther.
They are free article directory and they should ask for fresh articles and not your residence. The deal is that visitors give you articles and in return you get free links to your website and maybe some web traffic. Where that person live should not matter. If they were not satisfied with your article then they can simply reject it and they do not need your address to do that. They are not going to call the article cops to my residence right?
